The Spanish La Liga continues with an exciting fixture on Matchday 26 as Osasuna play host to Valencia. The matchup is scheduled to take place on the 2nd of March, 2025 at the El Sadar stadium in Pamplona, Spain which is the home stadium of Osasuna.

The club opened their campaign with a 1-1 home draw against Leganes. Osasuna got a first league victory of the season on Matchday two when they defeated Mallorca 1-0 courtesy of a Ruben Garcia second half strike. They also signed striker Dani Gomez from second division side Levante, while defensive midfielder Enzo Barrenechea joined from English Premier League side Aston Villa on a season long-loan deal. Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili agreed a fee to join Liverpool, but will remain at the club until the summer of 2025 while center-forward Roman Yaremchuk moved back to his parent club, Club Brugge after the end of his loan spell.
As of the time of this writing, Valencia are rooted to the bottom of the Spanish La Liga standings. They have accumulated just ten points from their opening fifteen games and are six points off safety. They have just two wins while they have drawn four matches and lost nine times in the league this season.
Los Ches began the league campaign with three straight losses as they were beaten by Barcelona, Celta Vigo and Athletic Bilbao. They registered their first point of the campaign in a 1-1 draw against ten-man Villareal on Matchday four before losing again 3-0 to Atletico Madrid.
Valencia picked up a first league win of the season in a 2-0 victory over Girona on Matchday six. Their other league win of the season was an entertaining 4-2 win over Real Betis at the Mestalla on Matchday 12. Their most recent league outing was a disappointing 1-0 loss to Real Valladolid despite playing the final twelve minutes of the game with a man advantage.
In the Copa Del Rey, they travel to Eldense in the Round of 32 after previously defeating Parla Escuela and Ejea in previous rounds.
The first meeting between both sides this season ended in a goalless draw at the Mestalla on Matchday 7. In five previous meetings between both teams, Valencia have won three times with Osasuna winning just once and their last encounter ending in a draw.
