Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili agreed a fee to join Liverpool, but will remain at the club until the summer of 2025 while center-forward Roman Yaremchuk moved back to his parent club, Club Brugge after the end of his loan spell.

As of the time of this writing, Valencia are rooted to the bottom of the Spanish La Liga standings. They have accumulated just ten points from their opening fifteen games and are six points off safety. They have just two wins while they have drawn four matches and lost nine times in the league this season.

Los Ches began the league campaign with three straight losses as they were beaten by Barcelona, Celta Vigo and Athletic Bilbao. They registered their first point of the campaign in a 1-1 draw against ten-man Villareal on Matchday four before losing again 3-0 to Atletico Madrid.

Valencia picked up a first league win of the season in a 2-0 victory over Girona on Matchday six.
